Our heart is to come alongside parents in the incredible work of discipling their kids. God has entrusted parents with the primary role of raising their children in the Lord, and we see student ministry as a way to support and reinforce that calling. Our hope is that any gospel truths learned, Scripture read, or friendships formed through youth group will complement and build upon what is already happening in the home.
Each week, the youth group goes over a passage they were assigned to read the week prior. The teaching is interactive, discussion-based, and focused on making observations, interpreting the Scriptures, and applying the Word to their lives. If a student is new and hasn’t read the prior passage, they are still welcome to attend and will be able to learn as well.
